Our chipmunks have been
very busy adding new
products to our store.
 We still feature our
chipmunks on our mugs,
t-shirts, sweatshirts, and
hoodies, but we've also
added many new decorative
items.  We especially
like our new I-pod and
I-pad covers and new
items for babies in
addition to water bottles
and thermos containers.

Hope you enjoy your visit.

Miss Ears deMunk

You just have to love me folks.  Look at that face.  Look at that sleek trim body.  Am I gorgeous or what?

This little chipmunk is all personality.  She really loves being around us.  Any time I go out to work in the garden, I am assured a visit from my little friend.  Sometimes she'll sit on top of one of the garden figurines and just watch what I'm doing.

What I find truly amazing is that all our wild chipmunks know their name and, believe it or not, they even come when they're called.  When Ears is in the woods behind the shed and she hears the backdoor open, she always greats us with a loud "CHIP".  If I call her by name, she'll come bounding out of the woods hopping up and down on all fours with her tail straight up in the air.   And, in case you didn't know it, chipmunks can run really, really fast.

One of the great things about spring is the return of my backyard friends. Right now I have four chipmunks: Miss Ears (pictured above), Lulu, Sugar Plum, and Ivan the Terrible. All four have burrows in the yard.

Ears still enjoys playing games with us. She's been going in this old pipe since she was a baby. It's her idea of hide 'n seek.

Things can sometimes get out of hand when more than one comes to visit with me at the same time. (It's tough being owned by four chippys). Each one thinks I belong to him or her and no one else is to interfere. This sometimes results in a squabble that can only be resolved by my leaving the premises.

Each of my friends has a very unique personality. Ears has been around the longest. She will be 3 this year. She's a very happy, perky chipmunk. She loves to sit on me and be petted. and comes running when I call her name. She's very loving and gentle. She spends most of her time in the woodpile, leaving the backstairs to the more aggressive chippys. Ears is easy to identify. Her ears are a little crooked, has a tiny hole in one, and a crinkle in her tail. She's a real love.
