Baby Ears deMunk in an Old Pipe Bet you wonder how I got in here. Grandma taught me this trick. She dug a tunnel from her back door all the way to the top of this pipe. I love to play hide-n-seek here. The first chipmunk we saw in the pipe was grandma. We were scared because we thought she was stuck and didn't have the faintest idea how we were going to get her out. Much to our amazement, she popped right out, turned around, and ran right back down the pipe the way she had come out. Other chipmunks use this pipe as well. It certainly makes for a fast get-a-way when the neighbors cat is around. It also makes a great place to sit and look through the window in shed. You never know who might be in there just waiting for a chippy to appear and maybe bring out a handful of sunflower seeds.
